Energy in the body is stored in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate).

Aphrodisiac Properties
Tongkat Ali incites the testes to produce more testosterone on their
own by sending signal to the hypothalamus and the pituitary glands,
and NOT by supplying exogenous testosterone. Synthetic testosterone
(anabolic steroids) can supplement your body with testosterone,
but steroids interfere awkwardly with male sexuality, causing penile
and testicular shrinkage.
When testosterone levels are elevated, the sex hormones (androgens
and estrogens) will signal your body to decrease or stop its own
testosterone production, this is call "negative feedback".
Tongkat Ali intercepts the negative feedback to the hypothalamus
and pituitary gland, which results in the body to continuing to
produce testosterone at elevated levels. Because the testes are
in full testosterone production mode, the penis and testicles will
increase in size. Further studies on LJ100TM and the effects on
Partial Androgen Deficiency in Men (PADAM) show the application
as a potent stand alone aphrodisiac.

Testosterone Boosting
In the LJ100TM 100:1 water soluable extract, compounds were found
capable of markedly improving testosterone production in men. In
Vitro studies with LJ100TM showed a 440% increase in testosterone.
In a test with 11 male subjects with hypogonadism, the average testosterone
increase after 1 month of regular consumption of LJ100TM in 100mg
was 50%. Initial studies at higher doses on both hypogonadal and
healthy male subjects show increased testosterone boosting ability.
In human studies, analysis of the DHEA showed gradual increase
in the level from 26% after 1 week to 47% in 3 weeks. SHBG analysis
showed decrease in level from 36% after 1 week to 66% after 3 weeks.
Consequently, when the SHBG level declines, the Free Testosterone
Index goes up in most subjects. This increase in Free Testosterone
indicates that it has a bio-stimulatory effect on steroidogensis,
meaning that Longjack has the ability to enhance testosterone biosynthesis.

Anti Cancer
Properties
Studies done by the department of Pharmacognosy, Tokyo College
of Pharmacy & the Faculty of Medicine, Tokyo University, Japan,
found anti-cancer properties by isolating anti-leukaemic activities
of compounds from the plant.
Early results from a study conducted by a Malaysian government-sponsored
agency and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have found
that some chemical constituents of the "Tongkat Ali" plant
show potent anti-cancer and anti-HIV activity. According to Abdul
Razak Mohd Ali, Forest Research Institute of Malaysia’s Director
General, initial laboratory work has shown that the chemical constituents
(of Tongkat Ali) could be more effective than existing anti-cancer
drugs.

Fertility Properties
Studies show that Longjack improves the health and wellness of sperm.
There is an increase in overall sperm count, size of sperm, and
motility(speed). Initial tests in healthy lab mice showed a doubling
in litter size. Concerned that this might be the result of splitting,
twinning, or multiple ovulation in females, they tested for these
extraneous effects. The findings were conclusive that increased
fertility was purely the result of sperm quantity and quality.
Anti-Oxidant Properties
Several studies conducted by researchers in Malaysia discovered
that Longjack contains Superoxide dimutase, a kind of anti-oxidant
enzyme that has the ability to inhibit the chain reaction of free
radicals harmful to the body.

Anti-Pyretic
In 1995, it was reported that the quissinoid extract from Longjack
has anti-pyretic or anti-fever effect. From the experiment, it was
found that the quissinoid was twice as effective as aspirin.

Anti Malarial Properties
Studies on the biological effects of Longjack began in the 1980s.
These studies showed that the roots of Longjack have a group of
plant chemicals called quissinoid alkaloids and peptides that have
the properties to kill malarial parasites.

Several studies conducted by researchers in Malaysia discovered
